"Menelusuri peristiwa sejarah dalam konteks lokal di daerah Bandung pada masa revolusi fisik memerlukan suatu ketekunan yang menguras konsentrasi, terutama berkenaan dengan pemetaan geografis daerah Bandung. Baik kondisi demografi maupun geografis Bandung pada masa revolusi fisik sedikit sekali terdokumentasikan dalam peta-peta maupun buku. Perebutan wilayah antara Belanda dengan Republik Indonesia sepanjang masa revolusi nampaknya telah meminimalisir kemungkinan dibuatnya suatu peta yang sezaman oleh kedua belah pihak. Penulis merasa beruntung saat mendapatkan beberapa buah peta topografi Bandung dan wilayah sekitarnya yang justru dibuat oleh pihak Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1943 dan 1944 melalui Dinas Ketentaraannya. Meskipun mengadopsi peta topografi Belanda yang dibuat beberapa puluh tahun sebelumnya, namun peta tersebut mencantumkan nama-nama daerah dari tingkat kawedanaan hingga tingkat desa yang mungkin dalam waktu dua tahun (1943/ 1944-1946) relatif tidak mengalami perubahan nama sehingga dapat digunakan dalam penelitian ini.". Approximately a year ago, I have ride my bicycle that I bought as secondhand product. It was a cheap price I got rather than to bought the new one with the same of their specification; simplicity without any modification at all. When I bought, I knew also that the person who sold it to the trader just got more little of money from the trader.
